PostSubject: 2018 AARO Priority Selection   Mon Aug 20, 2018 8:50 am

In something never gone public, the AARO has announced its 2018 Priority Selection will be available to the public for the first time. The priority selection is a two(or one)-round long order of selection of 15 and 16 year-old prospects not currently signed to an AARO team. These prospects are found in regionals or at various local tracks or cars around the world. Each team will have a selection in order of worst team to last. The selections will happen prior to free agency opening a week after the AERS season comes to a close.

This is a “natural” way of prospects landing on certain teams and such. It is encouraged that anyone enter as many drivers as they want, however are not required to participate in the whole selection and can instead opt for them to be selected by the team you own. However anyone else can be taken by any APRS team to enter them into their system and develop them. In no way do entered drivers have to be taken by other peoples’ teams.
