Who had the brilliant idea to make me an admin of something?
Resident and administrator of the AARO Forum. If 7 is the GM of the series, I am the Assistant GM.

(Better late than never right?)

Powell Racing gets a 1-2 finish

Powell Racing up to this point in the season hadn't won a race yet, although they been close a few times, not everything fell in their favorite. That all changed today as Charles Daughtry and Dustin Boden battled in the last four laps for the lead and eventually ended up 1-2 with Daughtry taking the win. After he crossed the finish line Charles was ecstatic and said "Hell yeah boys we finally did it! Thank you everybody for their hard work!"

Charles Daughtry: This is the greatest day of my life so far! I can't believe we won today, I was just expecting to survive and get a good finish. It was a great race with my teammate [Dustin] Boden there at the end. Thank you to all the guys on my team they got it done on the pit stop and to my spotter for helping me navigate around the lap trucks. After a horrible race at San Diego where we just struggled mightily, it felt really good to unload off the truck fast. This win gives me the confidence that I do belong in AARO and I hope to be racing in the AERS soon.

Dustin Boden: Finishing 2nd sucks, but at least it was a teammate that beat me. We had probably one of the best trucks we've had this year and it showed in the race, I think we didn't fall out of the top 10 really at all. Congratulates to [Charles] Daughtry on his win, it's big for the team to get their first win in AARO. We'll come back next race and try to win for ourselves.

Nick Santiago: Disappointing race for me after qualifying 6th. Just didn't have the same speed that my teammates had and ran in the back half of the pack the whole race. On the same note it was freaking awesome to see [Charles] Daughtry and [Dustin] Boden battle for the win and finish 1-2. I hope that I soon get my chance to win a race.
