25 26 52 C Romine -10L 32 0 88 Running
26 5 87 S Conway -19L 23 0 85 Retired

Overall, a pretty tame Q-Race with the exception of Damon Miller sideswiping Aleksandr Mouta into the wall and bringing out the only caution. Mouta wasn't fast enough to make it anyway. Pericles and Cowie were dueling for 2nd all race, but they both were gonna make it, so who cares? A meaningful battle was between Damon Miller and Robert Pollard, making his debut with Greg Terrier Racing's #61 team that entered as the series was needing a few more entries. He was to Miller's back bumper until Daniel Voyles made a move to lap the #61 and force him back with about 3 to go. Steven Conway suffered from an electrical problem and retired on Lap 23, so I would expect that some ride-swapping would be taking place with the 87 team and someone else.

The victor? Oh, don't mind Chase Donovan blasting away and winning by 5 seconds.

Voyles makes his 2nd race in a row

After finishing 29th in his PTRL debut American racing team owner and driver Daniel Voyles finish the qualifying race which was good enough to make the race at Boston. "First off this team has done a fantastic job since we unloaded and I'm proud of everyone back at the shop and this Buffalo Wild Wings Dodge has improved on speed since testing and we are showing everyone that make races was no fluke" He said to the press after the qualifying race.

Conway won't be buying his way into Sam Adams 200

After having issues in the qualifying race, Steven Conway brought his #87 home in last place, failing to qualify for the Sam Adams 200 at the Boston International Raceway. Unfortunately, this is the second week in a row the #87 team has had problems mechanically, last week at Thunder Bay, Conway ran just a quarter of the race before retiring due to an ignition failure. This week, an electric issue will put Conway on a couch instead of the drivers seat come race day.

"I can't sit here and tell you what happened or why these things keep happening, I'm not the guy to talk to. But what I do know is that these issues are becoming an issue, and it's our jobs to stop it before it really hurts us in the standings, we still believe in ourselves. We'll be back next week, we are going to stay the weekend here, watch the race, cheer on Tim [Hutchinson] Jr. and we'll move on. We're good sports here at JN Motorsports, I can't see us taking an opportunity away from a team that drove their way in."

K. Pericles with another strong showing
Kassandra Pericles is up there again! If she hadn't blown up she wouldn't have been in this Q Race. "I'm really proud of the team and Nick to help me get ready for this race. We did some engine tests on both cars to make sure they wouldn't blow up. and right now, I'm just trying to cruise through my rookie season with my Husband."

Crap, may have to re-run, I didn't shift the standings over when I was locking people in, so some of the drivers who locked in ran the Q-Race. Whoops...

EDIT: Might just bump people up from the Q-Race

idk what to do

Brenda Burns, Quincy Davis and Steven Conway are all moved up to the main race. Sorry about the confusion there; I'll make sure that doesn't happen again.

EDIT: Pollard gets in since there's an extra spot.

Trying to run the race without a bunch of mechanical issues or really stupid crashes on Lap 25 or so is pretty difficult. Not liking this track right now.

Voyles disappointed after flipping at Boston

Daniel Voyles was having an Anonymous race but then problems happened to him past halfway in Boston. His first of two was a tire went down after falling a lap down and then his day ends after getting t-bone in the driver side door but did climb out ok but a little shaken up but talk to the press after he was released from the infield care center. "First off I'm sorry to everyone that I held up on the track" He said. "It's a shame that we have a torn up race car and my team I can't thank them for all of our hard work for trying to make races but we will try again at the next race.

Michael Blue despite getting wrecked, gets 16th. His wife Olive, gets 21st. And Barnes continuing to be a major back marker and after getting dumped snags 34th.

While nobody was spoken too, the Blues appeared delighted with their runs, specially Michael, with his first start outdoing his wife in her previous two starts.

Barnes, was speaking to an official about why no yellow was thrown for her spin and hit into the wall but didn't seem pleased with the explanation she was receiving.
