It's back! Very Happy

Champions:

Season 1: Eric J Floppyfish by 2 points over Nick399 (GTA IV)
Season 2: Nick399 by 5 points over Eric J Floppyfish (GTA IV)
Season 3: TBD (GTA V)

Drivers (All cars are Bravado Banshee, Engine Upgrade +1):

Nick399 - Blue/Yellow
NathanSmith83 - Purple/Black
Will Legge - Black/Orange
Casey Lester - Blue/Orange
Its Webzic - Red/Silver

Race Official: Weatherman

The Tracks:

Vinewood Racetrack: The Daytona of GTA Online. A dirt 1-km horse racing track surrounded by towering mountains and grandstands. Truly the most special track on the circuit.
Qualifying Record: 29.956 set by Will Legge in Season 3 Race 1
Race Best Lap: 29.607 set by Webzic in Season 3 Race 1

Bolingbroke Penitentiary Octagon:
A 3/4ths-mile, 8-turn flat, thin racetrack outside of the Bolingbroke Penitentiary. No outside walls can lead to disaster for drivers going at max speed.
Qualifying Record: 25.116 set by Will Legge in Season 3 Race 5
Race Best Lap: 25.799 set by NathanSmith83 in Season 3 Race 5

Little Seoul Raceway: A 1-mile, 9-turn tight city road course, conjoined by two adjacent hairpins on each side of the racetrack, the last 3 turns are a tight, triangle shaped mess which leads to wrecks almost all the time.
Qualifying Record: 52.839 set by Nick399 in Season 3 Race 3.
Race Best Lap: 49.912 set by Will Legge in Season 3 Race 3.

Los Santos International Airport Speedway:
A 3/5ths-mile square oval at the LSIA. Turn 3 has a narrower entry, so drivers must be aware when battling through there. Otherwise, a very fast and flat racetrack. 2 laps = 1 GTA lap.
Qualifying Record: 20.917 set by NathanSmith83 in Season 3 Race 2.
Race Best Lap: 20.949 set by Will Legge in Season 3 Race 2.

Paleto Bay Raceway: a .74 mile road-oval in Paleto Bay. This track is narrow and flows nicely, and could definitely be considered a "drivers track".
Qualifying Record: 31.103 set by Webzic in Season 3 Race 4.
Race Best Lap: 30.103 set by Webzic in Season 3 Race 4.

South Los Santos Speedway: A 7/10ths-mile quirky oval. Turns 1 and 2 resemble the LSIA racetrack, while turns 3 and 4 are a hairpin followed by a slight left before the line. This track is very tight and tough to pass on.
Qualifying Record: 32.262 set by Casey Lester  in Season 3 Race 8
Race Best Lap: 31.276 set by Nick399 in Season 3 Race 8

Terminal Road Course: A 1.2-mile road course in the port of Los Santos. This is a "technical" road course and is very tricky to master. The tight turns and sweeping Watkins Glen type "bus stops" provide a challenge to all racers. A favorite among the drivers.
Qualifying Record: 48.731 set by NathanSmith83 in Season 3 Race 9

Tongva Valley Road Course: A 7-turn, 2/3rds-mile triangular road course with tight-braking turns and plenty of elevation changes. Far from a drivers track, Tongva Valley has open space for passing, but is generally not well received by competitors.
Qualifying Record:

Vinewood Hills Raceway: A 10-turn, .7-mile road course considered the "Short Tunnel Version" of the Galileo Raceway, for which it covers 40% of that tracks racing surface. The end hairpin provides a twist on what is a very fast road course with elevation change, as the first part of the track is downhill, the second half, uphill.
Qualifying Record: 34.371 set by NathanSmith83 in Season 3 Race 7
Race Best Lap: 32.250 set by NathanSmith83 in Season 3 Race 7

Grand Senora Speedway:
0.87-mile road course in the desert with 14 technical turns. There are two chicanes which provide mayhem in the opening stages of an event. Very tricky with a very fast and long front straightaway.
Qualifying Record:

Grapeseed Speedway: The biggest track on the schedule, this monster features 2.5 miles of fast, technical and intense racing through the town of Grapeseed. The 20-turns are all unique, and requires specific braking for the best results. The front portion of this track is wide-open, middle more technical, the back portion a mix of both. Definitely a favorite among competitors.
Qualifying Record:

Post OP Speedway: A 0.25-mile short track where turns 1 and 2 are "normal oval corners", while turns 3 and 4 are squared ala LSIA. This track is very tight and technical, but beatin' and bangin' is certainly present on this short track. 3 laps = 1 GTA lap.
Qualifying Record:

Harmony Raceway: A 0.66-mile triangle. The straightaways lean to a side creating a more "hairpin" like turn for each of the three corners. This track, while fast, has to be taken carefully in order to come out with the best time on a given lap.
Qualifying Record:

Galileo Raceway: A 2.2-mile, 19-turn road course based majorly on the Vinewood Hills road course, but extending it...alot. This track is very smooth, yet technical and features a very Laguna Seca type corkscrew/esses, but going uphill. This track bypasses the tunnel, but still features 90% of that track.
Qualifying Record:

East Los Santos Speedway:
A .25-mile short track that is a rectangle. This track is very similar to the Palmer Taylor short track but features left-turns instead of right ones. 3 laps = 1 GTA lap.
Qualifying Record:

Palmer Taylor Power Plant Oval:
A .43-mile right-handed speedway that features "Indy" corners for turns 1 and 2, and regular corners in 3 and 4. The track is not very wide, and because of that, there is a lot of damage done to cars very quickly.
Qualifying Record: 28.948 set by NathanSmith83 in Season 3 Race 6
Race Best Lap: 27.157 set by Nick399 in Season 3 Race 6

Palmer Taylor Power Plant Road Course: A .63-mile road course based largely on the speedway. It has 6 turns, but the track is basically the oval with turns 3 and 4 featuring an in-and-out hairpin and another extra turn. Definitely a tricky one, but short.
Qualifying Record:

Palmer Taylor Power Plant Short Track: A .15-mile square, right handed short track based on turns 1 and 2 of the oval. This track sees drivers' days be extremely bipolar, as every driver is bound to screw up at least 5 times per lap! 4 laps = 1 GTA lap.
Qualifying Record:

- Will Legge started on the pole and fell on the first lap, however that was the case all race long, as drivers could not hold the lead for extended periods of time. The race went yellow free until lap 13, where Webzic was spun around on the front-straightaway. Will was spun the next green lap, and then on lap 19, the big one struck as all 5 drivers were swept up in a crash on the front straightaway. On the ensuing restart, there was a bunch of passing and a lot of pack racing. With 2 to go, Casey took the lead and took the defensive line around the track, holding off a hard charging Nick for the final two laps and survived a slight photo finish to take the "Daytona 500" of the AARO GTA V League!

- Nate started from the pole and led the first 15 or so laps, all clean, but then cautions started to fly...and there were a bunch of them. There were lead changes almost every lap, but Nate was the one to lead the most, by a lot, as he had the best car all race long. On the last lap, there was controversey between Nate, and Will after Will, running 2nd, was tapped by Webzic and spun Nate in turn 2. Nick was also turned. There was fighting at the end, but in the end, Will Legge would hold off Webzic for the win at the Los Santos International Airport track.

- Nick399: 10 Laps Led
- The race started off with Nick on the pole. He and Will were the two frontrunners all race long, and they were the only 2 drivers to lead a lap in the race. They traded the top spot several times, but Will Legge led more and had the better car. There were cautions, but overall it was a pretty clean race. On the last lap, entering the sweeping turn 2, Nick unintentionally punted Will up the track and around, but he saved it and held on until turn 4 where he would lose the car and finish in 3rd. The battle for the win was between Nick and Eric, as Eric had pulled close to Nick for the final 3 corners. Off the last corner, Eric dove down under Nick and they made contact, and saw Nick emerge victorious with Eric spinning behind in 2nd.

- Webzic started from the pole, and led the field on a long green flag run to open the race. He and Nick would trade the top spot several times in the opening run. After the first yellow, Will Legge would enter the mix as Casey continued to fall back in 4th. After a bunch of yellows and lead changes, Webzic pulled out to a giant lead and never looked back, leading the races' last 10 laps, cruising to his first win of the season while Nick and Will had an intense battle for 2nd.

- In this race, there were lots of lead changes, tight racing, and wrecking. There were 11 cautions in the first 35 laps, but the final 15 laps were relatively clean, with just 2 yellows, very close and exciting racing, and an epic finish. Webzic and Nick were 4th and 5th on the white flag, and both caught up with amazing runs in the final corners. Coming to the line, Nick had the lead, but Webzic had an unreal run on the outside and edged out Nick at the last possible second.

- Nate started on the pole but Nick took the lead quickly and led the next 29 laps. There were a bunch of yellows but he kept the lead. Webzic took the lead, taking advantage of Nick's damage and led for a little while, with Will up there as well. Casey took the lead after using track position in the final restart. On that restart, Webzic and Casey Lester wrecked in turn 2, with Nate in third. Nick dove to the bottom and cruised away to his 2nd win of the season.

- This race was a challenge to all of the drivers, and while Nick took the lead early, his 4 laps would be all he led as Nate, and Will took control of it after that. Casey and Eric took the lead a few times but for the most part, it was Nate and Will at the front. After a yellow with 2 laps to go, Nick took the lead from Will. In the final corner after the tunnel, Nick hit the outside wall, while Nate and Will tangled and Nate would hold off the rest of the field in a frantic final couple of corners, securing his first win in the GTA series.

- Nate started from the pole but was passed by Nick399 one lap in. Nick dominated. Absolutely dominated. The field could not keep up. A late race yellow saw Nick flip on a restart and that's ultimately what cost him the race. On the last restart with 1 to go, he was turned by Casey Lester and that effectively ruined his chances at the win. Nate would cruise on as Casey and Nick had some words on the final couple corners.

Late in the race, Nate and Nick made contact and sent Nick to 3rd while Nate and Will cruised off to finish 1st and 2nd, probably tied for the most dominated performance of the year.

- Nate started on the pole again, and led the first 17 laps, looking for 5 in a row. After some yellows flew, every shared the lead at some point. Once Webzic got his car dialed in, the field suffered, as he would use several power moves to take the lead on different occasions. On the final restart on the white flag, there was a ton of contact, but Webzic took the lead and survived to win his 3rd race of the season!

- Very interesting race as there were a lot of wrecks but all in all, this race was a well fought battle with everyone aside from Casey leading at one point and with some controversy. On the final restart, Nick was leading, and in the second turn, a tight left-hand hairpin, was taken out by Casey who was hit by Nate. Will was also upset. Webzic avoided the whole thing and drove to the win, securing his 2nd win in a row, and taking the points lead.

- The big, fast Grapeseed Speedway was a challenging track for the drivers. Nate started on the pole and led the first lap amidst several local yellows. Will led for a while after that, but Nate got the lead back. Nick would take the lead briefly but Nate once again returned to it shortly after. On the final restart, heading into the first chicane after some intense, hard-fought racing, Nick got into Nate and Nate went around. Nick insisted it was an accident and ended up pulling away form Will and Eric through the final couple of corners to win an intense LifeInvader 200.

- Post OP was a track the drivers did not like going into the race. Nate got ANOTHER pole and led the first two laps, however was passed by Nick who would lead the next 16 laps under green. After the first caution flew, they continued to fly and there wouldn't be another green flag run north of 10 laps. Nick led until 4 to go where Nate used the bumper to take the lead and the win, while an intense battle for 2nd finished in a photo finish. Eric wrecked on the final restart and was unaware it was the final lap, and was upset, but either way, Nate took probably the most expected victory of the year and celebrated what was his league-leading 5th win of the season.

Qualifying Procedure:

- 4 laps.
- On race start, everyone backs up, qualifying draw determines who goes first.
- 2 laps for each driver, slow finish.
- Best time gets pole. On race start, pace lap determines starting order.

Race Weekend:

- Practice will be held the days leading up to the event. There will be races all throughout this time period that will count as your practice session.
- Qualifying is held prior to the race, maybe with a slight break in between, but mostly not.
- Races will have one pace lap followed by the full distance.
- If need be, a 2-3 lap shootout depending on track size, will be held in need of a GWC or miscellaneous last lap event.

Rules:

- Reckless driving 1st offence in the race, will result in restarting in last place. 2nd offence results in being held half a lap. 3rd offence will result in being held a full lap, and a 4th offence will result in a DNF. Drivers will discuss whether a driver will need a penalty based on the incident.
- On the last lap, ALMOST anything goes. Anything drivers feel shouldn't go, will result in a penalty based on offence and a GWC.
- No yellows on final lap.
- On restarts, accelerate at restart checkpoint, no passing or attempts to pass until line is crossed.
- Jumping the start or cheating in any way on a restart will result in the same penalties that apply to reckless driving.
- Cautions can be requested by any driver at any time, but the majority must agree to throw one in any situation. If a driver misses a checkpoint, it is an automatic caution unless they cut the track in an obvious manner.
- Catchup and Slipstream will be discussed pre-race whether to leave them off or on based on practice events. Same with weather and time of race.
- All drivers must use Bravado Banshee model with +1 engine upgrade. Having upgrades above any restrictions will result in a point penalty if found guilty. This includes all upgrades.
- Connection failures past the halfway mark of an event result in a DNF. Connection failures in Qualifying will be treated as a "backup car", in which you will start at the rear.

Any chance of racing tonight? I'll likely be on at 11:30 pending on if I go to this party or not.

This has been an absolute blast so far and I hope everyone is enjoying the race videos as much as we are. I've updated this thread to race 14, just need Eric for some of the stats.
