PostSubject: Regarding AARO Streaming   Fri Aug 16, 2013 6:15 pm

So now that I've got streaming down, I plan to do it often, but there's some stuff I do not like about streaming so I've made a rundown of what I'll stream and when:

- If I do the trucks, all races will be streamed, and none will be put on YouTube. This actually makes me want to do trucks because there will be significantly less work to do so I can focus on other things. This is also a great alternative to text or picture reviews, and is much easier.

- All AAPT races will be streamed and later put on YouTube. There will be no chatbox updates for AAPT obviously since the races will be streamed. And even after, I will put it up on YouTube, it's more work, yes, but it's not a lot and I'll have plenty of time for it since I'll only be putting two series' on YouTube anyway.

- Any AERS Qualifying race will be streamed, and as usual, not put on YouTube. Last year, we did chatbox Q-Races, and I think this would be again, a great alternative. I'm not 100% sure on if we'll be having these races yet, though. At least, we may not have them every week, but there will definitely be Q-Races for big events.

- AERS races will not be streamed and will probably not have chatbox updates, either. A select few may. Reason being is if you already know where your driver finishes and what happens, why bother with the YouTube video? And in that case, why should I even make it? Now, obviously not everyone is in chat during the race, but when there is 8, 9 people in there knowing what the outcome is, then why wouldn't I just stream it and forget YouTube? With that though, I will probably stream practice, qualifying and happy hour as sort of a "pre-race" show each race, which will be pretty neat if we get a nice skype call going. Very Happy

Each race will be commentated by members in either Skype or TeamSpeak as well, and I don't know if I'll work the broadcast into the stream, so it'd be good to get on those when the streams go up.
