PostSubject: Las Vegas Superspeedway officials announces reason All-Star was never run.   Thu Nov 17, 2011 9:17 pm

[Las Vegas, NV] Track executives at the Las Vegas Superspeedway announced today in an interview with the Las Vegas Sun why the WRA All-Star Race was never run as scheduled. "After the last chance heat, the pavement in Turns 3 and 4 broke apart, and we had to perform a repave of the track, Thus we couldn't get it ready in time for the All-Star, so we and WRA officials decided to call off the All-Star Race." Track President Lyle Nicks said. "We're definitely gonna run the 2012 All-Star, though. Don't worry about that."
