PostSubject: AARO President Releases Statement on current Toyota debate   Tue Aug 16, 2011 10:38 pm

After quite the debate on FaceUpdate for the past few weeks, David Stone finally said he'd had enough, and would explain it in a Q&A.

Q: Why won't the AARO let Toyota into the series when you allow Nissan in?

A: Here in the AARO, we have strict rules and requirements, and Toyota failed to meet them. Besides, Nissan has what, 4 cars?

Q: Its not fair that Toyota can get in, though.

A: How? A rule is a rule.

Q: Will the AARO ever reconsider letting Toyota back into the series?

A: No.

Last Q: Are you angered by some of the fans arguing?

A: No, it is quite amusing actually. The things like "WHY IS NISSAN IN IF TOYOTA ISN'T?" are really funny because they do not know the whole story on the situation.

Yes, this is why Toyota actually was booted from the series. While yes, it was my opinion to take them out and my idea, this is the only logical reason a sanctioning body would take out a manufacturer.

Now please, end the ****ing argument, if it continues, I continue, I won't quit on something about car companies, and that isn't good. Now ****ing drop it.

UPDATE 1:

AARO Chairman Dennis Razz Vaughn has told sources that Toyota had only been suspended for 1 year and are free to join if they wish in 2012, and Stone received false information.

I thought Toyota left voluntarily?
