The only reason this race was remotely good was because of fuel mileage at the end. Goodyear's made too good of a tire that lasts way longer then a tank of gas. They need it back to where the tires wore off around the same time as the tank was empty. Making 0 tire stops way too common. Nonetheless, congrats to Paul Menard on his first win and just like all 3 of the other first-time winners this year, their last one too.

Yet before the race you were like "OMFG THIS RACE IS GUNNA SUCK!1!1!1"? I don't get it.

He said it sucked, the only thing that was even close to good was the finish.

Yeah... And was it that good? No... The last 20 laps were good because of fuel miledge.

I actually like long green flag runs and all, so I didn't really mind this race.

Menard 1st, Smith 3rd...both with a win...I had them both making the chase in 2011 for the End of the World Series...what if it happens? Just thought about this.

Bayne winning was the ultimate fluke. All of the good cars wrecked except for Stewart and Edwards.

I guess running in the top 10 all race was a fluke too? He was up there when all those good cars were still around.
This, You can't take much away from Bayne at Daytona. He would be in 20th one lap, then push someone to first by the next, and would keep them there for a long while mind you.

Facepalm.

You don't have to be such a pessimist ALL the time.

I'm not. I'm just posting my opinion. If that makes me pessimistic then so be it!

I have no problem with your opinion, but your opinions are always negative. Doesn't anything have some positives?

I had a problem with NASCAR throwing a yellow Kyle Busch scrapping the wall (unless they saw debris I didn't), then it took them forever for them to through a caution when Landon Cassill was stopped in the middle of the corner with cars combing by. They only just then threw the caution when Kahne spun out.
