Pole: One of the Renesse cars, or a Lincoln. One of the LT cars could take it as well, though, considering they both clocked into the top 10 last year.

Also, keep in mind that a full 10 points goes to the pole winner at each race...

Drivers to watch:

1) #12 - Louis Tellez. Arguably the man to beat in last year's running, leading 15 laps before falling to Herb Cilantro. It'll be interesting to see how Louis handles this opportunity to avenge his near-win.

2) #42 - Herb Cilantro. The OTHER man to beat in last year's running. And he actually won it. So can he repeat? Who knows?

3) #72 - Patrick Eichholtz. He scored a top-10 at Livonia and is now riding an even bigger wave of momentum from his win at Daytona. And his performance just might carry over to today's event...

Dark horses:

1) #28 - Shawn Donnelly. Ran well for the first half of last year's race, and even led four laps.

2) #15 - Will Legge. I think fifth place in his first start, at a track some claim is a bit similar to this one, speaks for itself. Not to mention Ovota equipment has performed well at Boston in the past, with Jack Cronin-Walter scoring 2 of his 9 career wins here )in 2006 and 2007) and Jalen Scransen placing 6th in 2010.

3) #27 - Daniel Leckliter. Two races into his rookie season, Leckliter hasn't yet had the luck to accurately show his talent, but that may change here. With a 5th-place last year, the #27 team surprisingly proved they knew this track like few others, but with a new driver and new equipmen, it remains to be seen whether they still do.

Drivers to falter:

1) #73 - Jacob Eichholtz. Has only one race under his belt, that being at Daytona. Compare Daytona to Boston and you'll see why he probably won't do much of note in this race.

2) #00 - Tyson Lautenschlager. Only once in his career has he finished better than 20th on an intermediate track. (That was the Twin Ring Motegi event in early 2009, where he finished fifth.) Don't expect anything spectacular from him today.

3) #46 - Tyler Deefer. His last four finishes on intermediates: 39th (Darlington), 24th (Boston), 37th (Washington), 42nd (Ottawa).
